I have always been a curious man. In particular, I've always been deeply curious about the pulse of erotic energy that runs through our lives. Through the camera, I guide and bear witness to eros, both mine, and that of the people I photograph. My work is the evidence of our curiosity and desire.

I bought my first camera in 2002. I never set out to "be a photographer," but several years in, I had to admit that I had become one. I cringed the first time someone used the word "artist" in describing me, but OK: hundreds of men, women, and couples, and thousands of images later, I guess I'll admit to that, too. I had some of my work published in print. I've hung my work in a handful of art shows. I teach photography classes occasionally, and I've sold a handful of my images. That's all pretty cool, but the thing is, I really just feel like the "me" I think I've always been: curious about the experience of sexuality, and drawn to the diversity of energies in the world. It's either that, or I'm just a  voyeur who got lucky enough to find an artistic outlet. I suppose you can decide that for yourself.
